Discrimination is often overlooked or dismissed, but its impact remains deeply felt in our community. The FHRC is launching an initiative to collect and share anonymous stories of discrimination experienced by individuals within our community. These stories will form the foundation of a published book, serving as a powerful testament to the reality that discrimination persists and must be addressed.
Why This Matters
Discrimination can take many forms—based on race, gender, religion, ability, age, or other identities. Each story reflects the personal challenges faced by individuals and highlights the systemic issues that still exist today. By bringing these experiences to light, our goal is to:
