The poster contest is open to all students enrolled or homeschooled in middle school or high school within the tri-county area of Lake, Ashtabula and Geauga Counties. The first-place winner will be awarded a $150.00 cash prize, 2nd Place winner $75.00 and 3rd Place winner $50.00. All entries will be judged on their artistry, creativity, originality, and their ability to communicate a clear and positive message about the theme of “Beauty in all Colors.”
All poster images must be no larger than standard poster board size (22″ x 28″) and no smaller than 8.5″ x11″. All contest entries shall be submitted to either the school, where we will make arrangements to pick them up, or to Fair Housing Resource Center, Inc. located at 1100 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio 44077, by the deadline of November 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. The winner will be announced on November 16, 2023, via email and Facebook.
FHRC will be using the winning posters in publications, materials to promote our message, and inside our lobby! The participating students and schools will be recognized in all marketing materials if their image is utilized.
