Win a Buddy Bench for Your School!

Fair Housing Resource Center Inc. is asking students, parents and community members in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula County, Ohio to nominate their school to win a free Buddy Bench for their school!

What is a Buddy Bench?

A buddy bench is a simple concept that promotes friendship, inclusion and kindness!  During recess, some students have difficulty making friends or fostering relationships with their fellow peers. The buddy bench allows students who do not have friends, are shy, or are new to the school to sit on the bench in hopes that other students will see and allow them to join in their play! This can help students make new friends, be included in play and helps to deter loneliness and bullying.

How to Win?

Fill out the questionnaire below with your personal information, the name of your school and a short statement explaining why your local school needs a buddy bench for their playground and how it can encourage inclusion and equality for the students!

What do you win?
